What is the difference between a NATO band and a ZULU band?
What is the difference between a NATO band and a Zulu band? We'll help sort out the essential differences.
What is a NATO band?
Below is a classic black NATO strap made of nylon webbing. The buckle is stainless steel and normally polished, although there are models that have brushed metal details. Quality and thickness vary between different suppliers, normally they are about 1.1mm thick. We think that the NATO strap is a watch strap that fits most watches, everything from neater dress watches to diving watches.
What is a ZULU band?
A Zulu band is made of a thicker nylon fabric and with sturdier buckles. The watch band buckle is normally made of brushed stainless steel. We think that the ZULU strap is a watch strap that fits perfectly with slightly larger diver's watches.
